There is a fact about arrows that changes everything once you really hear it.
An arrow gets its power not from the release but from the draw. Not from the forward motion but from the backward pull. Every inch that the bowstring is drawn back is an inch of forward distance stored. The shaking in the archer’s arms, the resistance, the tension vibrating through the shaft — that is not a problem to be solved. That is physics doing its job. That is power being stored.
Now consider this: you are at full draw.
That feeling you’ve been carrying — the one where you are working harder than you have ever worked and still feel somehow further from where you want to be — is not evidence that something is wrong with you. It is evidence that you are loaded.
Your failures did not drain you. They loaded you.
And you have been at full draw for so long that the shaking in your arms has started to feel like your natural resting state.
